Selected to create an SNMP v2c, v3 agent for embedded 802.11b wireless switch. Also selected to support PocketPC 2002 and Windows XP based Wireless Site Survey tool.

·         Responsible for the design, writing and implemention of custom MIBs and implementation of standard MIBs for SNMP agent:

o        Mined data from network drivers using /proc files and IOCTL calls.

o        Exposed mined data for consumption by CLI, Web Interface, SNMP and externally using XML and SOAP.

o        Wrote daemon for firing SNMP traps.

Selected to develop a legacy handheld system using current state-of-the-art technology for a manufacturer of rocket fuel.  Created a fully automated system to collect data from 500 wells and 3000 data points to ensure that solvents are not seeping into ground water on its 3000+ acre compound, and that all data is accurately and timely reported to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

·         Responsible for the architecture, writing and implementation of the project from top-to-bottom resulting in a fully developed the system that:

o        Eliminated collection errors, data entry errors and a six-month data backlog from the former paper-based system.

o        Removed the threat from the EPA that GenCorp's operating licenses would be revoked because of the company’s inability to track pumping, instrumentation and water purification statistics.

o        Isolated errors to the moment of data collection.

o        Created annotation ability for the data readers to document problems when they occurred or were discovered.

·         Continuously revised the system to stay current with technology and currently upgrading the system to SQL for Windows CE and SQL 2000 Replication technology.
